Hypnosis is not magic, although the process and the results can certainly be perceived as magical.

HYPNOSIS

“If you know your heart well, nothing unexpected will come. Because you will know your dreams and your desires, and you will be able to handle them. No one can escape the voice of their heart. Therefore, it is better to listen to it.” – Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist

Hypnosis refers to communication with the subconscious mind. This is not as crazy as it sounds – we are constantly communicating with our subconscious mind. But how do we do it intentionally? Naturally, we are in close contact with our subconscious mind when in a relaxed state. So, we induce a relaxed state (trance). In this state, we develop a credible version of what we truly want with the subconscious mind, without our inner critic or rational mind interfering. Although our rational mind is usually more prominently perceived, it is our subconscious mind that generally determines our actions, and certainly always influences our emotions.

A few common myths about hypnosis: You can hear everything around you during hypnosis, you can converse with the hypnotherapist, and you can make free decisions. You remain in control and decide at every moment what is in alignment with you. The state of hypnotic trance is a natural state that we all experience multiple times a day, especially just before falling asleep. Technically, the hypnotic trance is a state of lower brain frequencies, meaning that our critical faculty is less active while other brain areas become more active.

Legal notices: Hypnosis does not replace medical or psychotherapeutic treatment. If a client is in psychotherapeutic treatment, it is necessary for us to be informed. We do not treat without the consent of the treating therapist. We are happy to contact the therapist regarding this. We never recommend discontinuing existing treatment or stopping or starting medication.

Not only our ethical code but also membership in leading hypnosis associations worldwide binds us to confidentiality.
